マシュマロ美

Born in 2003. A fourth-year student Hokkaido Iwamizawa Campus, belonging to the Contemporary Art Spatial Expression Research Laboratory.
The artist depicts the everyday inner world where multiple emotions and thoughts coexist, using visuals that overlap the three faces of an original character. Drawing female characters has been a familiar part of her life since childhood, and she creates paintings using characters as a natural way to express herself.
Since December 2025, the artist has been developing the "Trimming" series, in which parts of three face paintings are cropped, and only the composition of the original work is retained to create new paintings on different canvases. Through this creative process, where one work gives rise to another, the artist expresses in multiple ways themes such as the passage of time, the possibility of parallel worlds, editing and processing, the beautification of memories, and different facets of a person.
She continues her artistic activities outside of school and Hokkaido, creating art while observing how her own existence is perceived and influences others and the world.
